For thousands of years people have said that hearing the sound of a drum most represents the heartbeat of our Great Mother Earth. On the same note, there have been millions of people from all over our Earth who have personally experienced the healing effects of drumming.
On Thursday May 19, 2011 from 7pm – 9pm Chrystine Julian will lead a hands-on/participatory adventure with rhythm as a vehicle to experience various states of altered consciousness. Chrystine will also bring many different drums for us to use this evening.
Chrystine has been an executive, a business writer, a standup comic, minister, mystic, medium, musician, shaman style healer, recording artist, workshop leader, drum circle facilitator and poet. She has shared her various skills from North Carolina to SOCAL/Denver to Delaware and many locations in between.
She also leads workshops about harnessing the power of fears based on her poem, The Dragon and leading drum circles at various locations around the southland. She is the author of numerous books and produced several music projects. Information is available at http://ChrystineJulian.com
