I currently live in Redlands, CA but was raised very close to the geographic center of the United States, on the east side of the Mississippi river near St. Louis. The powerful, often muddy flow of the river has been the metaphor of my life.
I have been an executive, a business writer, a standup comic, minister, mystic, medium, musician, recording artist, workshop leader, drum circle facilitator and poet. I have shared her various skills from North Carolina to SOCAL and many locations in between.
In late summer 2009 a friend suggested that I should be doing workshops. As a result, that fall I did a six week cross-country adventure from California to Delaware and South Carolina to Arizona with a class I called A Mystic’s Guide to Dragon Riding. Upon returning I started writing a book based on my experience and workshop materials. It turned out to be much more than I ever expected.
